Paris to the Riviera: seven days, one point of contact
The itinerary below is the one we're asked for most often. It's a starting point for the conversation, never a fixed programme — everything moves, shortens or stretches around what you want.
The principle
A journey between Paris and the south lives or dies on its transitions. It's the transfers, the waiting and the hotel changes that tire people out, not the days themselves. Our job is to make them disappear.
In practice: your luggage moves separately and is in each room before you are. One driver stays with you for the whole trip. Every booking is confirmed, then reconfirmed the day before. You fill in no forms and present no cards.
Day by day
- Day 1
Arrival in Paris
Met in the private arrivals area at Roissy or Le Bourget, fast-tracked through, transferred by saloon car. Into a suite in a Right Bank palace. A light dinner in the room or somewhere five minutes away, depending on your arrival time and how far you've flown.
- Day 2
Paris on your terms
A free morning, or a private viewing before opening — the Louvre, the Orangerie and several private collections open for us outside public hours. Afternoon shopping with appointments held and fitting rooms reserved. Dinner, then a private club.
- Day 3
The Paris night
A slow day — spa, hammam, or a second viewing. In the evening, a table at one of the restaurants where booking runs on relationships, then two or three clubs depending on how the night is going. Driver and discreet protection until you're back.
- Day 4
South
A late-morning departure, private jet from Le Bourget to Toulon-Hyères or a first-class flight, as you prefer. Lunch aboard or on arrival. Into the hotel on the peninsula, an open afternoon by the water.
- Day 5
Porquerolles
Aboard your crewed yacht in the morning. Across to Porquerolles, anchoring off Plage Notre-Dame or Plage d'Argent depending on the wind. Lunch prepared aboard, swimming, paddleboards and water toys on hand. Back at sunset, or a night at anchor.
- Day 6
Port-Cros and Le Levant
On to Port-Cros, a national park and one of the last intact seabeds in the Mediterranean — masks and snorkels aboard, a guide on request. Lunch at anchor, the afternoon along the Levant coast. Dinner ashore in a harbour restaurant.
- Day 7
Saint-Tropez, then home
A final leg to Saint-Tropez: lunch on a private beach, late afternoon in town. Transfer to Nice or Toulon airport — or an extension, if you decide to stay. People often do.

Questions about the itinerary
Can it be shortened to four or five days?
Yes, and it often is. The short version keeps two nights in Paris and two days on the water, dropping the slow day and one of the islands. We do advise against going below four days: below that, the transitions start to outweigh the journey itself.
When is the best time to travel?
June and September strike the best balance — the sea is warm, the islands are pleasant and the crowds are manageable. July and August work but need booking far ahead and cost more. From October to May the Paris half stays excellent while the sailing becomes unreliable.
Can the yacht be replaced by a villa with sea access?
Certainly. Some clients prefer a fixed base at Ramatuelle or Cap Bénat with day trips out to sea. We rework the itinerary around that, and the budget usually comes down.
Do you arrange the private museum viewings yourselves?
We work through curators and guides we've known for years. Out-of-hours access depends on the institution and the season: we confirm it is possible before it goes into your programme, never after.
